Waterside Boiler Tube Failure - TEG 163X
Monday, March 17 - 1 to 5:30 p.m. This symposium contains technical papers focusing on the aspect of boiler tube failures, but with an emphasis in this session on failures that relate to "Real World" boiler operations versus actual design, and corresponding impact on boiler reliability. For example, topics will include the influence of upset chemistry in condensate return of feedwater make-up on boiler tube failure mechanisms. In addition, failures related to operational aspects of downtime storage, boiler firing practices, and cyclic boiler operation versus original boiler design parameters will also be discussed.
