SCC in Alloy 600 and Alloy 182, 132 and 82 weld metals is important because these materials are widely used in the PWR coolant system, and have exhibited SCC, which will steadily increase as plants age without effective mitigation.  This study is investigating the mitigation of PWSCC initiation and propagation by adjusting the current operating PWR primary water chemistry, including dissolved hydrogen and Zn additions.
