In pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, permissible amounts of contaminants such as metallic ions from the apparatus to the process solutions are low in the extreme. It is demonstrated that nickel-based corrosion resistant alloys are suitable for the application by the quantitative analysis of metallic ions dissolved in the smulated acid solutions.
