Full body fatigue tests were conducted on higher strength coiled tubing in both air and sour environments.  The results suggest various limits of use for the coiled tubing expressed as the number of downhole trips (fatigue cycles) to retirement.  The effect of environment, material properties, damage mechanisms, surface condition and welded condition are discussed.
