Performance of External Pipeline Coatings in Low Temperature Conditions

Laboratory-based experimental program evaluated performance of fusion-bonded epoxy coating under overprotection conditions (cathodic disbondment) and below-freezing temperatures. Experimental program included the effect of freeze-thaw cylces; multiple levels of cathodic protection were assessed.  The results were compared to those obtained from control tests and standard testing conditions.
