Damages of Heat Exchanger Tube in Cooling Water at chemical plants are usually pitting corrosion. The corrosion rate of pitting corrosion is more bigger than corrosion rate of uniform corrosion. Information for corrosion rate of pitting is very important at Management of maintenance for Heat Exchanger Tube.  But Direct Measurement for corrosion rate of pitting corrosion is very difficult by corrosion monitors.
The system of coupled multi electrode array sensor can measure for corrosion rate of pitting corrosion. We compare the measurement data by the coupled multi electrode array sensor with the measurement data by the other corrosion monitor (uniform corrosion).
