This paper and presentation details the underlying algorithms used in data mining of ship tank and void coating system inspection data as found in the CCIMS database.  The techniques involve combine Turbull Censoring Survival estimation methods with Weibull Forecasting Analysis to predict the life of the coating system.  Coating breakdown and deterioration predictions are presented for various tank types and coating systems.
The future development plans are to:
·         Consolidate the carrier, surface ship and submarine inspection data into one uniform data structure within CCIMS. 
·         Develop a web-enabled analysis capability as an integrated part of CCIMS. 
·         Extend the analysis capability to include services that cannot be currently evaluated because either there are two few inspections or there are insufficient number of “failures” in the collected data.
