The high-temperature electrochemical sensor incorporating diamond-like carbon (DLC)-coated electrodes is an effective tool for online, real-time corrosion monitoring at high temperatures.  The chemical inertness of the DLC coating on the on the sensing electrodes forms a crevice-free electrode that can be used at temperatures above 100 °C.  Corrosion test data on probes made of titanium alloys, stainless steel, aluminum and nickel-based alloys will be presented.
