Innovative Gaskets and Tapes Provide High ROI for DOD Corrosion Prevention and Mitigation Program
As part of the 2005 OSD Corrosion Joint Service Project N-W-215, Av-DEC Conductive Gaskets and Floorboard were implemented on aircraft from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard. This presentation will cover the background of the project, the many features and benefits the services realized by using these materials, a few of the many positive end user feedbacks and resulting extremely high Return On Investment (ROI). The ROI and Cost Avoidance portion will cover projected and actual, both the quantifiable and non-quantifiable and realized readiness and safety benefits achieved.
