Results of a six year study involving 1) aqueous solution potentiostatic experiments and 2) test yard exposures of concrete specimens reinforced with different corrosion resistant alloys, including Types 3Cr12 and 2201 stainless steels and ASTM A1035, are compared; and the utility of both methods for projecting long-term service performance of actual structures is discussed.
