A 14" gas piping was modified to install colled probe for testing of volatile corrosion inhibitors which shown acceptable lelvels of protectionin in laboratory and Ohio loops and also a bottom line inhibitor projection system to test the efficiency of inhibitors applied by spray pig. Using this monitoring systems both volatile inhibitors and also currently used batch treatment inhibitors were tested. The paper summarises the field testingl set up, tests results and discuss the acceptability of corrosion controls by the batch treatments and volatile inhibitors
