Recent Experience with Materials Utilized to Resist Coal Ash Corrosion

Recent field and laboratory data have been generated for materials designed to resist the rigors of high temperature corrosion in coal fired boilers.  These results and experiences will be discussed, with particular emphasis upon weld overlay materials.  Physical and mechanical properties which enhance the performance of such materials in boiler applications will be presented as well.
