Industrial perspective and recommendations on implementation of Optically Active Pigments (OAP) for single coat rapid cure applications

A multi-organization collaborative field trial was conducted comparing the detection effectiveness and production rate of white light visual inspection with the OAP fluorescent visual inspection with current recommended eyewear. Independent industrial inspector observations, quantitative detection results, and volunteer feedback were collected. Practical inspection techniques, tools, training recommendations, OAP selection, and industrial cost benefit analysis based on these results will be presented.
